Sonora II 1980's overnight/cosmetics bag- a wonderful bag designed by Luba for Samsonite Luggage Co. Made of a very pliable rusty/caramel easy care - vinyl material. The exterior has one large raised pocket with button/lock closure, a full length zip pocket plus a small area between the zip pocket and raised pocket which is great for small items. The long adjustable shoulder strap has a comfort pad with silver hardware, zip top closure. Inside is beautiful part fabric and part vinyl lined- the fabric has a tiny mod diamond design.
Both the inside and out of this groovy bag is in great condition, showing little use or wear. Simply Fab! Coty award winner Luba, was quite famous for her classic, uncluttered clothing designs. In 1980 she designed the Sonora II luggage- she described them as contemporary, casual and hard working with deep, rich colors and details that derive from function.
